I biked 3.9 miles today on my 🍵 Green Tea bike.
✨ About this Ride
This was my first ride back from a lightly sprained ankle and it was a lot of fun! Importantly, my ankle felt great. I kept the ride super short since it was experimental in nature.
I chose a new trailhead with a great view of Brunot Island. The cat crossing sign was a wonderful surprise. There’s a cat colony that’s been on the site of the former Western Penitentiary since 1882. I didn’t see any of the cats but it was cool to see their surroundings. I turned around near Bicycle Heaven.
🆕 On the Road
The trail was under construction. The detour required me to ride on the road briefly. I encountered a few cars, a motorcycle and a few other cyclists and am happy with my performance.
