‍ Biking Montour!

Published on by brie · 2 min read

I biked 11.0 miles today bike.

✨ About this Ride

I started this blog a few weeks after I started biking in 2025. I started biking in order to add variety into my workout regimen and to return to an activity I loved dearly as a child.

🗺️ Montour Trail is the obvious trail for me to choose! I biked the trail frequently in my youth. As an adult, I can (and do!) walk to the trail’s very beginning in my town of Coraopolis.

📍 Since this ride marked my return to biking, I sought a less busy part of the trail. The maps and trailhead information on the Montour Trail website are super helpful for planning. I set out from the Boggs trailhead and turned around at the Fort Cherry trailhead for this 18 km out-and-back ride.

🎧 I listened to Daft Punk’s Tron soundtrack during this Saturday afternoon ride.
